the concept of time - how it goes on and on -
babies, pulled from wombs,
people moving about in their various stages -
how as we type carcuses are laid in coffins - lowering into the earth. . .
and what to do with (during) this thing time - - - - - -
could draw an analogy of two guys - each is given a hunk of gold - the one plunks his down - uses it as a doorstopper - - - - the other widdles his chunk down into millions of lil' gears - selling each for hundreds of dollars to Rolex Watch Company..
how productive is this person compared to that person - see how they use/leverage their time - their seconds.. think how ahead this reader is intellectually compared to this TV head..
and what does it mean to be 'ahead' - what does it matter! well, one way of looking at it: you can either do stuff or not do stuff in the time you're given.. why not do stuff: clearly the more interesting option..
and I'm realizing more and more that *pleasure" is a lot of what everything comes down to - - - think of people getting paychecks - they are providing happiness (synonymous w/ pleasure, really) to people - be it a good kind of happiness or a questionable kind..
are you conscious of the mood you're experiencing in time.. do you 'pay attention' to it..

case in point: my roommate Ryan.
the other day he was walking down the street - at night - in Harlem -
out of the blue a black guy in a red sweatshirt jumps onto his back -
think how unpleasurable those 3-5 seconds were as he shook him off.. then, following day, he's serving (he works roomservice at a fancy hotel) breakfast and chatting to Paris Hilton as she stands in a bathrobe..
what fogs our consciousness to time.. bad decisions I'd posit.. - such, as they add up, meld folk into a befuddly stupors - leer around like lost sheep - we've all seen it.. and interestingly the further into goofiness one goes - the less they tend to realize how badly they're coloring, botching, the atmospheres about them..
Solution - - - truth sets free - - - clarity now! and how does that happen! ! !
