COME HERE!!!!! -
slept like 3 hours yesternight -
my younger bro in City one night b4 flight to LONDON to study a year --
LOOK FORWARD TO VISITING!!!!! -
we chilled a few of us over at my Uncle's on UWS -
celebrating: good times -
bunch of us fell asleep on a fold out sofa thing -
alarm sounds - 4am - help bro and his girlfriend lug suitcases downstairs -
as black LINCOLN pulls up in the dark -
tell him to give me a wake-up call at 650 -
return to sofa bed - snooze to till 630 - the call - he's about to get on plane -
bumble down stairs - subway to Tribeca - breakfast w/ a few arteests -
on over to work - the 8 hours.. - - -
all that to get to: waking there on couch to call - hanging up.. laying, looking out wide open fall gusty window - revelation struck in deep - surfaced - it *occurred* that - the way things are - there is no need for them to stay the same - - - - all these rules seemingly locked in place: there is no rule against us changing them - changing the way things are - think about it - what opportunity abounds! - what possibilities!!! think of how much we don't touch b/c we chalk it up to 'well, that's just the way it is - so, like, that's, like, the way it's gotta like, be, and stuff'. . . sink it in deep to chords striking, bells ringing: how fortunate that it can all fall into OUR laps to actuate changes - to be CHANGES AGENTS - - - making life BETTER - rather than stodgy resignation to sameness day in day out; automaton-fear-factor-fall-in-line-spinelessness - - - to boldness walking in confidence showing up making it happen uping tha atmosphere and pleasure quotient. . . ok this snapt fast even so we have fresh feeling and understanding and things have spiked up in bossoms anew. . . - - - and think of changing of the words we type - freeing that up - and how we speak - are we mega-dependent on those generations ages ago who decided this is how we were gonna communicate- well explode that box!!!
