Penn Book Quote and commentary

Here is a quote from a book my Dad wrote about William Penn called 'Penn's Luminous City' - referring (of course) to Philly. . .

Chapter 5 veers off into an interesting tangent about the Chinese art of Feng Shui. . .
Here's a snip from it:

"Some living organisms are "bummers" that depress your immune system. These include mangy or rabid animals, criminals, misers, perverts, mean neighbors, disobedient children, and hostile superiors or subordinates. Though we don't endorse it, many Chinese also shun "unlucky" individuals and chronically ill people."

I think there's something to this. . . When a rabid animal enters the room, it does add a dimension - changes something in the air - things turn uncomfortable. . .

A brighter note, considering the vice versa of the above quote helps shine a light on perhaps who's our best bet in terms of having future associations with. . .
