an incentive to read more books...

"The more books you read the better you become at reading people. . ." - so scrolled the line of thought through my noggin today as I bumbled along down Bedford Avenue in sunny Williamsburg - - - the thought might not be 'set in stone' reality across the board - - - but there's definitely a seed (or 'nugget' or 'grain') in it I'd say. . . One becomes more proficient in gleaning what the 'jists' of books are the more of them one reads (cracking book open: 'what's the message here?') - this discernment carries into assessing folks as well - 'what's this guy's deal?' - 'what's she trying to get across here?'. . . I suppose (art being relative) it could be said "the more films you watch the better you can read people." but reading (in my opinion) challenges the mental membranes moreso - - - which is easier: watching 5 films in a row or reading 5 books in a row. . .
Read books to better read people!
